Inflact Promo Module helps you attract real followers on Instagram by interacting with accounts your audience cares about. You can use three types of targeting: hashtags, locations, and usernames.
To get the best results, we recommend running 10–15 targets for each promotion type (hashtags, usernames, locations). Review your statistics weekly and replace targets with less than 1% efficiency. You will learn more about tracking statistics in another guide.

Hashtag Targeting
Hashtags are one of the most effective ways to reach your target audience because people use them daily to categorize their posts. Inflact automatically suggests a set of popular hashtags for your account after registration. You can keep them or replace them with your own.
Tips:
- Use a combination of popular hashtags and niche-specific ones to balance visibility and relevance.
- Avoid overly broad hashtags such as #love or #fun, which may attract unrelated users.
- Use Inflact Hashtag Generator to quickly find effective tags.

Location Targeting
Location-based promotion is a great way to reach people who are active in a particular place. This method is especially useful for local businesses, events, or even personal brands that want to focus on specific regions. With Inflact, you can simply type the desired location.
Tips:
- Choose locations where your target audience is active. Local businesses can focus on nearby districts, while lifestyle and travel accounts can experiment with popular tourist spots.
- Test different locations weekly to see which bring the best engagement.
- Try a mix of busy city centers, landmarks, and niche spots related to your niche to maximize results.
Username Targeting
Username targeting allows you to interact with followers of specific accounts. This is one of the smartest strategies because you’re reaching people who already follow accounts similar to yours. Inflact will then engage with their followers, giving you a chance to attract them to your profile.
Tips:
- Look for active accounts with high engagement in your niche, including competitors and influencers.
- Add usernames one by one or import them in bulk to save time.
- In the "Work with" section, if you select "Followers", Inflact will interact with your competitor’s followers, and if you select "Following", it will interact with the accounts they follow.

Username List vs Individual Usernames
Many users ask what the difference is between adding usernames one by one and using a username list. The answer is simple: the functionality is the same, but a list helps you save time.
- If you already have a prepared list of potential accounts, you can upload it directly in the My Audiences section and then use it for targeting. Just remember to enter usernames without the @ tag:

- After upload, add the list in the targeting section (Lists):

If you don’t have a list, use Inflact Instagram Search to find relevant accounts.
There is no difference in promotion effectiveness between single usernames and lists. Lists are just more convenient.
To get the best results, regularly update your hashtags, locations, and usernames so that campaigns stay effective. Review which targets generate engagement and adjust them every week. It is always better to focus on quality rather than quantity, since relevant followers bring more value than a large number of inactive accounts.
